Nujabes Metaphorical Ensemble

Looking at the past and present, weaving the music into the future. The gifted producer Nujabes who passed away prematurely at the young age of 36 on February 26, 2010. His beautiful songs transcend time and borders, and they are still continuously embraced by many people. Celebrating 50th anniversary of birth and with the concept of “Nujabes as of now”, Nujabes Metaphorical Ensemble was created by connecting the pieces of his vision left at Hydeout Productions. You will witness unprecedented live performances by world-class musicians of extraordinary talent.
Joaquin “Joe” Claussell

Unlike the current music scene, which is committed to commercialism, Spiritual Life Music, which he runs, has become a unique and supreme existence. Its beautiful musical sensibility resonated with the Nujabes, and "Child's Attraction," an unreleased recording at the time, was brought to life live by Joe Claussell and continues to shine as one of his masterpieces. His DJ performance, in which he pours his whole heart and soul with superb effects, uplifts the hearts of listeners and transforms the dance floor into a frenzied space. Body&SOUL with Francois K. and Danny Krivit has been going on for 25 years since its launch, and is still known as a beloved party around the world.

Captain Vinyl

A project by DJ NORI and MURO. Their music selection, which covers all genres, attracts many crowds, and they have been invited as guests in Japan and also abroad. In April 2018, they released their first mix CD under their own name, "DIGGIN' DISCO presented by CAPTAIN VINYL" from Universal. Two of Tokyo's top vinyl diggers bring mainly 7" from their vast collections to play a very wide selection of soul, disco, garage classics and house music.
GREEN ASSASSIN DOLLAR

Born in 1985, he is a trackmaker, DJ, and producer from Sagamihara City, Kanagawa Prefecture. His first album "BEATS, LOOPS & LIFE" was released in 2016. Also he put out the limited collection of his works, "DIME PIECE" in 2017 and "POINT OF THE VIEW" in 2018. Recently, the track "FLOATIN'" provided to Namedaruma received a great response. He produced 8 of the 10 tracks on the Namedaruma's album GODBREATH BUDDHACESS, which came out in 2019.

Dazzle Drums

A two-member unit of Nagi and Kei. Each started DJing in the 1990s.They play a wide selection of music, mixing house and dance classics with new releases. To date, they have released on a number of international labels, such as King Street Sounds, Afrocentric, NuluElectronic, Tribe Records, and BBE Music.They currently run the labels Green Parrot Recording / Yellow Parrot Recording.In August 2022, after they performed at the We Out Here Festival outside of London presided over Gilles Peterson, they toured over 14 places UK and EU in 5 countries in a month and a half, and in July 2023, they had shows in 11 places in 6 cities in UK, EU and Seoul.Their regular parties are Block Party, Music Of Many Colours and also the one at Bridge SHINJUKU with Toshio Matsuura. They launched their new party Prisma at 0 Zero on the second Sunday afternoon of every month starting in May 2023.
DJ KOCO aka SHIMOKITA

A hip hop DJ based in Shimokitazawa, that knows no boundaries - he’s the 45 Wizard representing Japan. He began his DJ style only playing 7" records (45s) in 2011. With his honed skills and selections as a vinyl digger as his weapon, his mixing style has been pursued to the ultimate point. He has revolutionized the DJ play of 45s. He was the only Japanese to take part in the “Technics 7th” event held in Las Vegas in January 2019 to commemorate the release of Technics SL-1200MK7 with top DJs. Along with appearances in events, he has released numerous mixes. He is also part of the unit Funky Soul Brother with DJ Southpaw Chop and as a unit and as a solo DJ, creates music and edits. As 45s as his core, DJ KOCO continues to spread his work and talent in various areas of the music field.
